Welcome to the beginning of our Advent Journey 2015. If you missed my November 15 post, you might want to read it. This post will make more sense. Starting on Sunday, November 29 we will spend the week tangling the ornaments, candle and the glow around the candle flame. On the following days leading up to Christmas, we will continue developing our ZIA (piece of Zentangle Inspired Art). I plan on shading and possibly adding details the last week. The candle flame will be the last thing drawn in on Dec. 24, reflecting on the symbolism of the light. Finally, December 25 will be for reflection. That's probably enough direction. Just relax and enjoy the process. The point isn't to complete a perfect picture, but to focus on the meaning you can find in your daily devotional. Take this time to be present in the moment during what can be the busiest time of the year.
On Saturday, December 5, I will post my results for this week and new
suggested tangles. I'm looking forward to sharing this experience with
you as we reflect on the meaning of Advent.
